Intentional living is a general concept that may be interpreted in several different ways. It is any lifestyle that at its core includes the concept of knowing exactly what one wants and making intentional choices to achieve that.
Any specific lifestyle may be considered intentional living as long as the person subject to it is willingly living the life they ultimately want to. These aim to increase the presence of valuable aspects in one's life and to decrease distractions.

Simple living, or minimalism, encourages its followers to simplify their lives, getting rid of distractions and choosing intentionally what to bring into their lives. It involves one's possessions, actions and thoughts.
The transition starts with a realization of what the person wants in their life, followed by a decluttering process. After that, the person will need to consider if any addition to their life is valuable or not, only accepting those that bring value.
A frugal person takes extra care of their money and where it is spent. Frugal living does not have a set of rules to follow. Again, it is all about realizing where money is going, where it should be going, and making intentional decisions with those aspects in mind.
Living intentionally, no matter under which specific concept, is simply making intentional decisions. It helps people have less distractions, get more value from their posessions, thoughts and experiences, and ultimately live the life they envision!
